In celebration of World Social Work Day, we are highlighting our talented Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mariah C.!    With 22 years of experience, Mariah brings a true passion for supporting patients and helping them navigate their healthcare journeys with empathy, connection, and advocacy.   Mariah’s journey into social work was sparked by a desire to help others and a profound connection with the aging population during her time as a nursing assistant. She finds true reward in the trust patients place in her, often helping them open up about their life and embrace the support they need.   When asked what being part of the kidney care community means to her, Mariah shared:    “I am honored to be a part of a healthcare team that is aimed toward transforming kidney care alongside supporting our patients in such a specific way. In honor of National Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, we’re shining the spotlight on our incredible Registered Dietitian, Katie Stairiker!   Katie has been a registered dietitian for 7 years. Seeing her patients take the education she provides and succeed is the most rewarding part of her work. She always tells her patients that while she can offer all the knowledge, it's up to them to put it into action, and they deserve credit for making the changes.    Since joining the kidney care community, Katie has expanded her knowledge by learning how kidney health impacts well-being and how nutrition can play a major role.
