Apple’s iOS 18 updates—whether intentional or bugs—are changing how emails render. Here’s what’s happening: 🚨 Email content is being pushed down, mostly below the fold 🚨 A “See More” button is required to view the full email 🚨 Images are not loading and generating inaccurate text summaries 🚨 All emails from the same sender are grouped together in a single thread 🚨 Older emails sometimes open instead of the most recent one 🚨 Plain text emails are displaying incorrect preview text ❓ Why does this matter? These changes could impact engagement, visibility, and conversions, especially for promotional and transactional emails. ✅ How to adapt your strategy: 🔹 Use more live text instead of relying on text-heavy images 🔹 Move CTAs and key messaging to the top to ensure visibility 🔹 Write strong, standalone subject lines that don’t rely on preview text 🔹 Test emails across iOS versions to catch rendering issues 🔹 Adjust segmentation to track engagement from iOS users What kind of changes are you seeing? Feel free to let us know in the comments. #EmailMarketing #iOS18 #EmailStrategy #DigitalMarketing #Klaviyo

  • Ah yes, the Q1 doldrums. All the holiday buzz has disappeared, but that doesn’t mean your customers have to. In fact, there’s a goldmine of opportunity in nurturing the ones you just acquired. Add these campaign ideas to your Q1 calendars to keep the momentum going. 📩 Loyalty Program: Make sure your new customers know about all the ways they can score rewards if they keep shopping with you. 📩 Restocked Faves: In addition to any individual product restock flows you have set up, use a campaign to call out bestsellers that are back in stock for Q1. 📩 Support Touchpoint: Send a plain text email offering support for returns or other concerns after the holiday shopping blitz. 📩 Gift Card Reminder: Nudge your customers to use a gift card that might be burning a hole in their proverbial (or real) wallet. 📩 Reviews: Affirmation never hurts! Remind customers why they made the right decision by purchasing from you. 📩 Brand-building Content: Not every email needs to be transactional. Encourage your customers on New Year’s resolutions; or suggest travel destinations to try in 2025 – any lighthearted content that’s relevant to your product offering to keep your brand top of mind. Remember, retention is an ongoing, long-term game. Stay the course, and stay thoughtful about how you communicate with your customers. These Q1 nudges will pay off in the long run. #emailmarketing #retention

  • Is showing prices on your collection page hurting conversions? This might be the case for certain brands, which is one reason we take A/B testing so seriously around here. You’ll never know for sure until you test it. We recently ran an A/B test for a brand in the food and beverage industry, and the findings were eye-opening. If your store features products within the same price range, this might be especially relevant for you. 🔎 The Hypothesis: Showing prices on collection pages when products are similarly priced might not add value. In fact, it may even clutter the shopping experience. We hypothesized that removing prices could create a cleaner design and encourage shoppers to click through to product pages (PDPs) instead. 📊 The Results: We tested this by removing prices from collection pages while keeping everything else the same. Here’s what we saw: • CTR to PDPs: Increased by +9% 💥 • Bounce Rate: Decreased by -1% 📉 • Add-to-Cart Rate (ATC): Rose by +6% 🛒 💡 Takeaway for Ecommerce Brands: For stores selling products within similar pricing tiers, hiding prices on collection pages might just be a winning strategy to increase engagement and drive conversions. But remember: one experience doesn’t make it a rule. While this tip worked for one brand selling packaged goods, it may not work for every merchant. This is why it’s always important to test theories like this for your brand. #Ecommerce #CRO #ABTesting #Shopify #DigitalMarketing
