Fore! Members of our team enjoyed a day on the mini putt-putt greens as a sponsor of the Sip & Putt event at Bowling Green, Kentucky's L&N Historic Railpark and Train Museum. This was German American Bank's third year supporting this unique event that raises money to help preserve history and create learning experiences for visitors. Owensboro Burger Week has come to a close and today Market President, Kyle Aud, and Senior Retail Officer, Krista Niehaus had the honor of presenting the German American Bank People’s Choice Award to the crowd-favorite, Kim's Diner! The photos from City of Owensboro say it all! This amazing event brings the community together in a big way to support local businesses with over 63,000 burgers sold throughout the week. Happy St. Patrick’s Day from German American Bank! Our team got in the Irish spirit by bundling up for the annual Ireland, Indiana St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday. The cold temperatures couldn't stop the fun of this spirited community event! The sun even peeked out for a while as our big red piggy bank made it's way through the festive green streets of Ireland. We loved seeing all the smiling faces!

Earlier this month our Evansville Team got stranded for a great cause as a sponsor of the Gilligan's Island-themed HeartSaver luncheon. The fundraiser, presented by the Deaconess Foundation and Deaconess Heart Hospital helps provide AEDs to schools, public safety agencies, and organizations in our communities.
