Based a few hours ahead of our team in Munich, Felix has become known as our overnight feature express - unstoppable at building amazing functionality at record speed. Nobody wants just business case factories anymore. This phrase came up in a recent conversation with a potential customer, and it perfectly captures the shift we’re seeing across organizations today. For too long, many solutions have focused solely on cranking out business cases—polished decks filled with numbers that often lack depth or connection to real-world challenges. But that approach is no longer enough. At Minoa, we believe there’s a better way. The modern buyer doesn’t just want a business case; they want meaningful discovery, actionable insights, and tailored use cases that align with their unique goals. Yes, building a business case is still part of the process—but it’s not the starting point. Organizations are moving from technical sales toward more commercial-driven conversations, where value is demonstrated early and often. Here’s what we’re seeing: 1/ Discovery first: Understanding pain points and uncovering the right use cases are critical to building trust and credibility as sellers try to be seen as a strategic advisor. Mapping industry- or persona specific use cases to the problems of the customer is a starting point of the conversation and it goes all the way through. 2/ Behavioral shift: Sellers are rethinking how they engage, focusing on value-driven conversations earlier in the cycle. We see that as sellers start using Minoa, they become more aware of the questions they need to ask to understand the key areas and initiatives of the customer. 3/ Specific value: It’s about more than ROI slides—it’s about embedding value into every stage of the customer journey. From the first value hypothesis to the upsell/cross-sell and renewal. The days of treating value as an afterthought late in the funnel are over. A lot of the leading GTM teams are embracing this shift and move away from purely a technical sale to a commercial sale, too and a value motion is the answer.
