Process taxes and garnishments related to bi-weekly payroll for 300+ W2 employees and 90+ incorporated consultants (domestic and international) – salaried, hourly and commissioned. Someone else will process the payroll, and you will review it. 3. Bi-weekly invoicing for temporary contract labor based on approved time sheets. 4. File the following forms: 940, 941, W2, W3, 1099/1096, withholding and unemployment taxes for 38+ states 5. Respond to unemployment claims 6. Group insurance administration (withholding deductions and submitting premiums, reviewing forms, adding and deleting enrollees, comparing plans, etc.). We are self-insured with a captive insurance company and reinsurance in place. 7. 401(k) administration 8. Bookkeeping with an emphasis on invoicing / AR, payroll, and AP (in that order). 9. Bank account and credit card account reconciliation 10. Expense report processing – domestic and international 11. Collect invoices before they become past due 12. Track invoices against client purchase orders 13. Answer employee questions about payroll, insurance, and 401(k) 14. Ability to research issues and make intelligent decisions independently 15. Supervise three assistants who help with timesheet approvals, processing payroll, HR issues, background checks, PO tracking, and bookkeeping tasks REQUIRED: 1. Good credit. We WILL run a credit report and full background check. If your credit is a disaster, then you will not be a fit. No late payments, charge offs, or excessive debt. 2. Full charge small/medium business accounting 3. High energy level and ability to tune out distractions 4. Obsessive with detail and follow up skills 5. Reputation for honesty and reliability 6. Good customer service skills as you will be interacting with our internal staff, our clients, and our contract consultants. 7. QuickBooks Pro with payroll 8. Ability to work self-paced and with minimal guidance. PREFERRED: 1. Experience in a multi-client CPA office servicing small businesses 2. Experience with a multi-client bookkeeping service 3. Experience in a high-volume business with varied payroll and invoicing requirements. Staffing is ideal. 4. Current or previous QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification (that is the actual certification, not just the paid ProAdvisor status) 5. Multi-state payroll processing experience 6.
