Our colleagues at the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery, a part of HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, are raising awareness of Hashimoto's Disease, an autoimmune condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the thyroid gland. This can result in a wide range of debilitating symptoms and long-term health issues if left untreated.
