  • The greatest resource in building healthcare equity is the healthcare workforce. Worldwide, providers and professionals are doing their best to care for their patients, within and sometimes beyond their means.   Healthcare Workforce Well-Being Day was established in 2024 as a way to recognize the resilience of workers in the US and the burnout and mental health difficulties they often face. We know that these challenges are even greater for healthcare workers in remote and impoverished populations worldwide, where the needs outpace the resources, technology, and education available. Women working in these areas face additional struggles, such as power dynamics and pay disparities.   A healthy workforce leads to healthy patients and communities. Together, we can turn the tide.   #Healthcare #EmployeeWellness #HWWBDay #HealthWorkerWellBeing

  • Our team loves being with the healthcare workers who are delivering the care for the equipment we provide. This was last week in Lagos Nigeria. These are the men and women who are working for better health of their patients, and we are proud and happy to support them. #healthequityforwomen #healthequity #nigeria #maternalhealth

My favorite place to be…. Listening to the women and men doing the hard work of delivering healthcare directly to patients. Surrounded by healthcare workers enables me to hear their challenges, understand what they need, and celebrate the incredible work they are doing. This picture was snapped last week in Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬 while visiting one of the local hospitals with HERhealthEQ. It’s the honor of my lifetime to be able to do this work and help women around the world have access to quality medical care. Join me… I’d love to hear how you want to improve women’s health! #womenshealth #globalhealth #healthequity #healthequityforwomen #womeninhealthcare #womeninnedicine #women #nigeria

  • We’re thrilled to kick off Meet the Board, a series celebrating the incredible leaders shaping our mission to advance global women’s health equity. Meet Pamela Bonnett With over 30 years of experience in healthcare IT and medical device innovation, Pamela Bonnett has made significant strides in the industry, contributing her expertise at GE, Envista Holdings, and now serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Outcomeus and Proove Genomics. Pamela is passionate about transforming women’s health and enhancing opportunities for women in healthcare. Her commitment to equity and inclusion has not only driven success in her roles, but has  empowered HERhealthEQ over the past two years to make a meaningful impact on women's health worldwide. Pamela believes that investing in women is key to uplifting entire communities. “There is lots of evidence that if women thrive and survive in these communities, that the whole community does too. There is better schooling, education, jobs, welfare, a better society. By targeting women, it is a way into the ecosystem, to try and help the whole community." 💙 Join us in celebrating Pamela and her dedication to advancing women’s health! • International Women’s Day has existed for over 100 years. And so have many of the inequalities we still face. Tomorrow, we join with women around the world to envision a future free of bias and discrimination, and to celebrate what we’ve already achieved. This day is a reminder to take action in raising awareness about discrimination and inequality. Together we can strengthen gender-responsive policies, increase representation, close the wage gap, and ensure that mothers (and fathers) have the leave they need to care for their families. Donate to HERhealthEQ and join our efforts to #AccelerateAction for gender equality. https://lnkd.in/eF37jfxw #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025

  • In many low-resource countries, maternal health clinics are few and far between. To help make preventative healthcare available to expectant mothers in remote areas, HERhealthEQ partners with the Butterfly Network, Inc. to deploy portable ultrasound systems for external ultrasound imaging. With a single scan, these devices can assess the heart and lungs, monitor pregnancy, and perform trauma evaluations, among other applications, making them versatile and valuable to healthcare workers and midwives in the Kenyan and South African communities they’ve been deployed to. We’re thrilled to deliver 10 more portable ultrasound systems for maternal health screenings to Nigeria this week, and to provide free service and training to workers in an area in desperate need of greater maternal healthcare. • Cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable. Enabling women worldwide to detect and treat it is one of our primary missions, and we’re proud to partner with like-minded organizations in this work. CureCervicalCancer is a nonprofit that seeks to bring treatment to people in need by the most efficient and mobile means possible. Their “clinic in a suitcase” model fits all the equipment needed to build a cervical cancer prevention clinic in a single suitcase. Their innovative work also led to the development of the world’s first HPV testing and treatment mobile clinic, which takes the most advanced cervical cancer prevention technology directly to high-risk, low-resource communities.   Partners like these inform and encourage our vision for healthcare equity among women worldwide. Partners like you make our work possible. • Maternal health is a priority worldwide. And Nigeria is enduring a maternal health crisis. Due to inadequate access to services, facilities, and sanitation, Nigeria has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world, with a percentage of global maternal deaths that is drastically disproportionate to its population. This March, HERhealthHQ is delivering 10 portable ultrasound systems for maternal health screenings to Nigeria, with a goal to expand our impact on women’s health by sending 30 cervical cancer screening colposcopes as well. Your partnership in our maternal health initiatives will not only improve the lives of vulnerable mothers and children, but save them.  https://lnkd.in/eF37jfxw #MaternalHealth #HealthEquity #WomensHealth

  • The maternal mortality rate in Mexico has remained stagnant over the past 20 years. We want to see it decrease. We have already deployed 10 portable ultrasound systems to in-need healthcare providers in Mexico. We’re on a mission to send 20 more. With our commitment to free installation, service, and training, we can improve maternal health screening that helps detect and prevent issues during pregnancy. This is just one of our many initiatives to support the health of women globally. Your donations will help us reach this goal and improve life for mothers and their little ones. When it comes to maternal health, every moment matters. https://lnkd.in/eF37jfxw #MaternalHealth #HealthEquity #WomensHealth

  • 🌍🎗️ Today, on World Cancer Day, we stand united in the fight against cancer—because where you live should not determine if you live. At HERhealthEQ we are committed to tackling breast and cervical cancer, two of the most preventable and treatable cancers when detected early. Yet, far too many women in underserved communities lack access to the screenings and treatments they need to survive. This World Cancer Day, let's turn awareness into action. Your donation can provide life-saving medical equipment to women who need it most. Join us in creating a world where every woman has an equal chance at health. 💖 Donate today: https://lnkd.in/eF37jfxw #WorldCancerDay #CloseTheCareGap #HERhealthEQ #BreastCancer #CervicalCancer #CancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwareness #CervicalCancerAwareness #HealthEquity #CancerPrevention #WomensHealth #AccessToCare #FightCancerTogether
