Our East Coast Highgate team hosted the first-ever Green Team Summit this week at Park Central Hotel in NYC, led by Steve Batta, East Coast Group President, and Marianne Balfe, VP of Sustainability. The event brought together passionate sustainability champions from our hotels and partners for an inspiring exchange of ideas. Our keynote speaker, Sir Robert Swan and speakers from the World Wildlife Fund, Goldman Copeland Associates, Engineers DPC, Beyond Plastics, Pathwater Group, Clean the World, Natural Areas Conservancy, among others, shared their vision for change. Together, we’re shaping the future of sustainable hospitality—turning innovation into impact. People First, Planet Always.

Last week, Highgate hosted a successful 4th Annual Charity Casino Night in support of the Highgate Charitable Foundation at the The James New York - NoMad. We are thrilled to share that the event raised an incredible $100,000 for the foundation, with over 200 guests joining us for a memorable night of poker and other exciting casino games.
