Dr. Araujo, originally from Brazil, has had an impressive career prior to joining Inspire Health Medical Group. Notably, he served as the Chief of Surgery at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley in Ukiah, California. In addition to this role, Dr. Araujo has supervised surgery residents and medical students in both clinical and surgical settings as an associate professor of surgery at the Western Michigan University School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. To further engage with the academic community, he has participated in research projects focused on anatomy, neuroimmunology, and plastic surgery. Today, we celebrated an early Doctors’ Day for our faculty, fellows and residents at UCSF Fresno. They picked up 50th anniversary polo shirts and bundt cakes because we have nothing “bundt” appreciation for them. They also enjoyed lunch provided by Inspire Health Medical Group and picked up other goodies.
