🚀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗮 1.16 is now available with a new 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 (based on #Graphviz) and an improved 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 for clearer, auto-positioned diagrams! 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 is key in architectural diagrams. That's why Keadex Mina's auto layout engine has been completely redesigned to generate better positions for each diagram element. The new engine is based on the Graphviz WASM port, ensuring smarter and more structured layouts. Additionally, the rendering system now supports curved relationships (you can disable/enable), improving diagram clarity and reducing overlaps. But don't worry: if you still don't like the auto-generated diagram you can disable the auto-layout and 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 the diagram through 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗮'𝘀 𝗨𝗜. 𝐊𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝟏.𝟕.𝟎 has just been released, bringing a couple of new features and improvements:   • Diagrams Themes: https://lnkd.in/e9cpMjWM   • Drag and Drop to Open a Project • Improved Labelling With version 1.7.0, the v1 roadmap is 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝: https://lnkd.in/eaeB5P9G This means that version 1 will no longer receive new features but will continue to get patch releases for bug fixes. Why? Because it's time to begin work on the next major release: 𝐊𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐯𝟐. Inspired by vscode.dev, this new major version will focus on 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐊𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐛, along with new features for 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This shift will further simplify access to Mina's diagramming features and create a more seamless "mob diagramming" experience. This transition presents an exciting new 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞, as it requires 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚'𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 and adapting logic originally designed for local environments — such as file system access — to a fully web-based model. 🤖 The new minor release of 𝗞𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘅 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗮 focuses primarily on 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. ⛓️💥 Unlike previous versions, which were tied to OpenAI solutions, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 1.6.0 offers a more flexible and open AI integration. This allows you to choose your preferred AI APIs and LLMs for 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. This means you can potentially run open-source LLMs like Llama on your 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 and access Mina's AI-powered features for free. ✅ Additionally, the code generation has been enhanced in this release. With IntelliSense integrated into the Mina code editor, you and your team can code diagrams 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 and with 𝗳𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝘀.  The parameter info and member lists will also 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 if you're not experienced with the C4 PlantUML syntax.

Version 1.0 stable has been released, but the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮.𝟬 is already in progress 🚧, featuring a highly requested community feature: optional and editable 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁!
