Join Mason Health in congratulating Lindsay Roberts, MBA-HM, MLS (ASCP)CM on her promotion to Director of Laboratory Services! 👏👏👏 Lindsay joined Mason Health in May 2021 as the Laboratory Supervisor and began her MBA in Healthcare Management via the Western Governor’s University the following year. In August of 2022, Lindsay was promoted to Laboratory Manager at Mason Health. During her time as manager, Lindsay established new and improved point of care testing in the clinic and improved and updated glucometer devices and processes across the organization. She also developed a career ladder within the Mason Health Laboratory by creating a technical assistant position that allows for growth from phlebotomist to lab technician or scientist. Lindsay takes pride in her close relationships with providers and interdepartmental leadership to facilitate collaborative development and improve workflow processes. Lindsay loves to share her passion for laboratory sciences and the need for more professionals in the field with high school classes, advisory boards, committees, and anyone else who will listen. When you can pull her away from laboratory medicine, you will find Lindsay painting, gardening, riding her quad, and spending time with her dogs, Tesla and Edison, named, of course, after the scientists.
