MedShare, in partnership with BD and the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC), is proud to announce the donation of 92 new portable ultrasound machines to free and charitable clinics in 30 states across the U.S. This donation will dramatically enhance access to vital diagnostic imaging services for underserved populations, particularly in rural and low-income communities. In addition, MedShare will provide essential technical training to clinic staff on proper installation, use, and ongoing maintenance of the machines, ensuring that clinics—many of which lack the resources and technical expertise to care for biomedical equipment—can fully integrate these tools into their healthcare offerings. We're thrilled to support the tireless work of NAFC member clinics and the providers who are delivering essential care to underserved patients across the country. Together, we are making a tangible impact and helping ensure that quality healthcare is within reach for all. READ MORE: https://lnkd.in/gvefSKgF

MedShare is extremely grateful for our long-term partnership with BD, and we were thrilled to work with volunteers at BD’s Cannan, CT facility this past week! Three shifts of BD employees graciously donated their time to assemble, quality check and pack life-saving Clean Birthing Kits (CBKs) that will be sent to vulnerable communities in Peru, Guatemala and other underserved communities around the world. Each kit contains simple but essential supplies that help ensure a safe birthing environment – reducing the risk of life-threatening infections and positively impacting the lives of over 1,000 mothers and newborns! In total, employees from BD locations across the country have created over 8,000 lifesaving kits! Thank you, BD!

To all of our partners, donors, volunteers and those we serve: In light of the uncertainty surrounding potential policy changes to U.S. humanitarian aid, MedShare reaffirms our unwavering commitment to serving those in need. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality medical supplies, biomedical equipment, and training to support underserved communities both in the U.S. and around the world. We remain as dedicated as ever to improving access to quality healthcare for marginalized individuals and families. While MedShare is primarily funded through donations from individuals, corporations, faith-based organizations, and foundations, we recognize that these policy changes may have a significant impact on many of our NGO partners, as well as the network of free and charitable clinics and hospitals that rely on us for support. Even as the situation evolves, our commitment to health equity remains resolute. We will continue to stand by and support partners and organizations that share our vision of accessible healthcare for all. Thank you for your continued belief in our mission.
