EVERY day in construction is an opportunity for women to shine - we're not limited to just one week! 💪 🔨 Women in Construction Spotlight 🔨 We are Michelle and Mary, representing Stoltz Remodeling. At Stoltz, we specialize in transforming existing residential spaces, focusing on kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. With eight years of industry experience, Michelle leads our team, while Mary brings a fresh perspective from her first year. Our commitment lies in delivering renovations that seamlessly blend our clients' aesthetic vision with enhanced functionality. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative and enjoyable experience throughout the remodeling process. Michelle: A common misconception is that women are unwelcome in construction. My experience has been quite the opposite. From subcontractors to suppliers and homeowners, I've found that my contributions are valued for their individual merit, not gender. Ultimately, clients seek passionate and dedicated professionals. As the industry continues to expand, there's ample opportunity for everyone to thrive. Mary: Prior to working on the Stoltz remodeling team, I never realized the crucial role that women play in construction. My misconception was that it's a male-dominated profession. After attending networking events and learning the business, I realized that construction would be really difficult without the women who contribute the projects either on the project site or behind the scenes. For example, I am amazed by the project managers who kept complex schedules on track, and the designers who create incredibly detailed plans. Their attention to detail prevented costly errors, and their communication skills ensured smooth collaboration between teams. Of course, men play a vital role as well. My perspective has completely shifted. I now have a deep appreciation for the diverse skills and contributions of everyone involved in construction, especially the women who are essential to its success. #WomenInConstruction #BreakingBarriers #Leadership #ConstructionIndustry
