  • We’re thrilled to welcome Joanna M., MSN, MBA, RN, SCRN, ASC-BC, NE-BC, as the new Nursing Alarm Management System Director at NYU Langone Health! In this role, Joanna will work to improve patient safety by optimizing alarm management practices. She began her nursing career with us in 2019 at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, and since then, has contributed significantly to our Stroke Program, most recently as Stroke Program Coordinator at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn.   At NYU Langone, patient safety is at the core of everything we do. Through innovative and collaborative initiatives, our interdisciplinary teams work together to design high-quality, individualized care plans, ensuring the safety of every patient.
