Yesterday, Chamber CEO, Scott Ashton, was honored at the annual Oceanside Police Department’s Member Recognition Ceremony. Scott received the “Andrea Sanders” Community Friendship Award which recognizes “civilians or community members who distinguish themselves through unwavering support and friendship provided to the Oceanside Police department”. 🌟 Captain Michael Kos, an Advisor on the Chamber’s Board of Directors presented the award to Scott and noted the great support the Chamber has provided to the Oceanside Police Department (OPD) in its recruiting efforts. The Chamber was recently able to leverage grant funding to produce career videos about OPD for the SOCAL Workforce Website. Congratulations Scott! 🌊
