We launched CarbonEQ, our flagship load-shifting solution that supports building decarbonization. 2. Through the programs we administer, we dispatched approximately 275 MW to help grid emergencies across California during extreme heat events this summer. 3. Our team grew! And we finalized plans to open a new office on O’ahu, Hawaii. This year, we look forward to progress in the transition to a more sustainable, resilient, and decarbonized energy future. What a week! As California faces another intense heatwave, Olivine has played a critical role in ensuring grid reliability and keeping the lights on for households and businesses across the state. As the administrator of California’s largest emergency programs (Emergency Load Reduction Program and Demand Side Grid Support) and a Virtual Power Plant (#VPP) aggregator, participants in Olivine-managed programs — leveraging advanced technologies such as integrated EVs, battery storage, and smart energy management systems — collectively reduced demand by an estimated 275 MW during peak demand hours. By empowering consumers to contribute to grid stability and offering Distributed Energy Resource (#DER) management solutions, we’re proud to be part of a cleaner, more resilient energy future. A huge thank you to our participants and aggregators, and to the dedicated teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible.
