Thank you to Impact100 Philadelphia for having me! I was honored to share my thoughts with such an inspiring and meaningful group of women.
Development Officer at the Support Center for Child Advocates | Amplifying impact through connection & community partnerships
So proud of my Impact100 Philadelphia Programs Committee for putting together a fantastic panel to engage our members on shared lessons from local funders. Many, many thanks to Monique Curry-Mims, MBA, MSEd, CAP® and Jody Greenblatt for sharing insights from their work in the sector to educate our members and guests on alternative approaches to philanthropy and inspire them to become more connected, engaged, and informed as grantmakers. Thanks also to our Executive Director Kimberly Kirn for providing such thoughtful moderation and discussion! Since 2008, more than 1,370 women have joined Impact100 Philadelphia to give over $5 million in grants to 81 organizations reaching some of the most underserved populations in the Philadelphia region. Our annual grantmaking, funded exclusively by member donations, raises the profile of smaller nonprofit organizations doing high-impact work to address the unmet needs in the Philadelphia region as we aspire for our communities to be more just, equitable, safe and healthy for everyone. As another membership year begins this fall, I invite you to join me in this joyful and powerful work by becoming a member — our membership deadline is Nov. 15! Visit https://lnkd.in/eMfrfQ7k or reach out to learn more; I’m happy to chat about how much I love being a part of Impact.
