This Friday Wow has been a long time coming! After a 6 month battle and a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with communication, a client of Sammy’s had 1 year’s council tax refunded due to overcharging over a period of years. Lovely amount hitting their bank account just in time for Christmas!

Today is National Clean Your Fridge Day and is the perfect chance to jump-start holiday prep. With Christmas right around the corner, now's the time to clear out any forgotten leftovers or expired condiments to make room for all the festive foods coming soon! A freshly organized fridge will keep you ready for festive gatherings and make it a breeze to store and find everything you need for your favorite holiday recipes. It’s Friday, which means another Friday Wow! Moving house can be one of the most stressful events in life. Not only is there all the legal side to deal with but you have to start to pack everything up. This where you realise just how much ‘stuff’ you actually have! This week Sammy started a 2 year downsizing plan including preparing the sale of property, renovations, decluttering and moving - this family have lived in the same property for a number of years so there is a big decluttering task to take on.

We’re kicking off November with a big Friday win! Sammy was helping some clients sort through reams of paperwork that had collated after living in the same property for many years. She stumbled across a piece of paper that proved PPR and saved £100,000 in tax payments! What a great find as we head into the festive period!!! End the Friday Wow’s with a big one! We’ve all seem the PPR adverts and probably experienced numerous phone calls about them. Whilst organising some paperwork for a family, Sammy identified some documentation that proved PPR was in place which meant a whopping £100,000 saved in tax payments. There can’t be many people who have a ‘spare’ £100,000 lying around waiting for a tax bill like that! What a brilliant end to the week!

This week Sammy organised a financial planning meeting for a family who had an elderly parent about to go into a care home. it is important to get the financial side of things set up as you don’t know how much care will cost or what unexpected charges might crop up This is something that is important to get n place because there will also be a huge element that is emotional as well.
