Delivering Health & Hope to the World
About us
Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to address the staggering shortage of medical resources around the world. Since our humble beginnings in a garage in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving the sick and dying in more than 130 countries. Each week Project C.U.R.E. delivers approximately three to five semitruck-sized ocean containers packed with the medical equipment and supplies desperately needed to save lives in hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries. In addition, each year hundreds of healthcare professionals travel with Project C.U.R.E. to provide medical treatment to communities in need and training to those dedicated to serving them. Project C.U.R.E. is supported by over 25,000 volunteers annually and operates distribution warehouses in seven U.S. cities. In addition to our global work, Project C.U.R.E. pivoted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support the need for PPE and medical equipment in the U.S. Since March 2020, Project C.U.R.E. provided more than 15 semitruck loads of medical aid, which equates to 4.5+ million pieces and nearly $5 million of PPE for healthcare workers and first responders. Project C.U.R.E. continues on the frontline of the battle against the pandemic by providing millions of dollars of COVID-19 aid on a weekly basis.

It was my pleasure to accompany my wife Jo Sullivan, LMSW to this fabulous event. Jo, through her work with Project C.U.R.E. and various Diaspora communities has been instrumental to delivering dozens of 40' container loads of critical medical supplies and devices to communities in need around the world. I'm very proud of her work and the impact she is having on peoples lives.
✨ Celebrating the Power of Diaspora Women Entrepreneurs! ✨ This Women’s Day, I had the privilege of attending an inspiring event honoring diaspora women entrepreneurs who are rewriting outcomes and driving success across industries—from retail and energy to groundbreaking medical services. Their resilience, vision, and innovation are not only strengthening Houston but also creating ripple effects far beyond. Hearing their stories of perseverance and triumph reminded me that entrepreneurship is more than business—it’s about impact, empowerment, and shaping a future where every woman’s potential is realized. To all the women breaking barriers and building legacies: your journey uplifts entire communities. Let’s continue supporting, investing in, and celebrating these game changers! #WomenEntrepreneurs #DiasporaWomen #BusinessLeadership #Houston #WomensDay #ImpactThroughInnovation Project C.U.R.E.

Honored to connect with Madam Mary, former Second Lady of #Malawi. Her brilliance and dedication to her husband’s legacy of service to #Malawians through the Saulos Klaus Chilima Foundation inspire us. Project C.U.R.E. is proud to collaborate with her to enhance our support for Malawi, strengthened and led by H.E. Ambassador Justice Esme Chombo, Malawi’s Ambassador to the United States. Together, they exemplify how visionary female #leadership drives progress and uplifts communities

📢 Announcing Our Largest Humanitarian Aid Shipment to Ukraine! We are thrilled to share that our next humanitarian aid shipment from the USA to Ukraine is on its way! After extensive consultations with our partners in the USA and Ukraine, as well as local authorities in Ukraine, and with the generous support of our funders, we are preparing shipments of state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies for fourteen hospitals in frontline cities - Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, and Nikopol. This will be our largest aid shipment to date as we continue to scale up our assistance to Ukraine. In the coming weeks, we will be working closely with the Project C.U.R.E. team across the USA to prepare cargo tailored to the urgent needs of hospitals in Ukraine. The planned shipment includes five 40-ft containers filled with life-saving medical supplies for hospitals that serve those in critical need. Since 2014, Support Hospitals in Ukraine has been tirelessly delivering essential medical aid from the United States to Ukraine. To date, we have provided $7.5 million worth of medical aid - and we are committed to doing even more. As a volunteer-driven initiative, we operate with zero overhead costs - no office, no salaries, no administrative expenses - ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to those who need them most. These achievements are only possible thanks to our generous supporters! Your contribution is more than a donation - it’s a powerful statement of kindness and a lifeline to those in need. As we gear up for a busy first half of 2025, we are already planning our next humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Join us in making a difference. One decision can save a life. At a Project C.U.R.E. Clinic in Paraguay, a woman returned for a cervical cancer screening—just in time. Severe dysplasia was detected, and thanks to trained local doctors, she received the care she needed. This life-saving work is made possible by incredible volunteers from North Suburban Medical Center in Colorado, an HCA Healthcare facility, who facilitated the Cervical Cancer Prevention Training. Together, we’re changing the future of women’s health. Read more about this trip here: https://hubs.la/Q03cy4Ty0 HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge

Last week I spent time in the evenings putting together a booklet for one of my volunteers who was on hospice. I wanted to show him how many people's lives he's touched over the years volunteering with Project C.U.R.E. (He'd been volunteering with our Chicago warehouse since we opened over 10 years ago.) It was filled with photos and quotes from people all over the world - from six different continents. It was a testament to how small acts, over a long time, can have such far reaching impacts. There are babies who are happy and healthy, families who are whole, because he showed up to volunteer his time. He'll never meet any of these individuals, but by giving his time, they got more of their own. More giggles with those new babies. More celebrations with siblings and parents. More birthdays. More peaceful moments. More goals accomplished. I love working with volunteers for so many reasons - but one of the biggest is being reminded on a daily basis what a life of service looks like. Showing up for people you don't know, but helping them anyway. So this is an appreciation post to all those volunteers out there who are doing the silent tasks to make the world a better place. Thank you.

🌙 Celebrating Community and Giving Back 🌙 Members of the Project C.U.R.E. Chicago Ambassador Board had the privilege of attending a beautiful Ramadan Iftar Dinner hosted by our very own board member, Dr. Rumana Siddiqui. It was an evening filled with reflection, unity, and meaningful conversations about how we can continue to support those in need around the world. Ramadan is a time for self-reflection, empathy, and deepening our connections with one another—and this event was a perfect reminder of those values. We are proud of the incredible partnerships we have built in Chicago, and the collective effort to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. Together, we are making a difference! #ProjectCURE #RamadanIftar #Community #GivingBack #AmbassadorBoard #Healthcare #Philanthropy #UnityInDiversity #MakingADifference
