    When discussing closing deals and attracting customers, Sales and Marketing often take the spotlight, leaving Presales overlooked. It's time to recognize the importance of Presales and ensure they have a voice in the conversation. Here are key strategies for Presales leaders to enhance their visibility: **Ownership and Accountability:** Sales Engineers should be responsible for more of the sales process and associated risks. Collaboration is key to winning deals; pursue customers who may seem unresponsive. Make recommendations and help solve the customers key pain points. **Metrics:** While Marketing and Sales have established metrics for success, Presales must also define metrics and their business impact. Identify what works well in technical evaluations and areas needing improvement using quantifiable measures. **Forecasting:** Incorporate technical evaluations into the overall sales forecast. Currently, only sales teams predict deal success probabilities.
