  • What's good in R/HOOD? 👀 SOUNDBOKS recently shared a lovely feature about R/HOOD, diving into our mission and purpose, which we are so proud of! Putting in the work and trying to create opportunities, highlighting new and underrepresented talent comes with its challenges, but seeing the results makes it all worth it. We are so proud to have partnered with Soundboks for Season 2 of our YouTube series where we visit the neighbourhoods of different DJs in our community, and we can't wait to work together in the future!   • We are 2 weeks into February, people are properly back in office, projects are booked and budgets are decided. It's a critical time for organisations of all sizes to consider where their money is going this year. How are you engaging with local communities? What organisations and people are you supporting? How will you make an impact? Are the collaborations you are planning truly meaningful? These are all things to consider before signing off on those contracts and SOW. Make sure that 2025 is a year to remember 🤝

  • The power of community is unmatched 💥 Last week, we started a new initiative on our social channels, inviting DJs from our community to create and collaboratively post mixes on our page, allowing us to truly showcase the talent within our community, whilst giving the DJs an opportunity to have their work shared on new platforms, to new audiences. Truly, it's a win win. We cannot wait to share more of our amazing community, make sure to stay tuned on our instagram 🫂✨

  • Not to stress anyone out but... we're almost a week into February 😮💨 The beginning of the year is always weirdly slow, and quick, at the same time. For DJs and creatives, this time is usually spent catching up after a busy holiday period, strategising for the new year and sowing seeds for new projects. Let's hear what everyone has been working on so we can support each other 👇

  • As the holiday period is coming up, remember to be compassionate, and kind, and put people first. Remember to support underrepresented groups, help those in need and use your power and influence for something good. Most importantly, remember to nurture and treasure your community, they're everything

  • 'tis the season to GIVE BACK. Whether you're a big organisation, or small group of people on a mission, it's always a good time to take a break, reflect and give back to those in need. Last week, we got together with ourppls and Pepper Pots (www.mypepperpots.com) and gathered our community to decorate and fill shoeboxes with donations for those in need. We had a beautiful time, bringing people together for a good cause 🫂
