RMA is embarking on a new video series called “Coast to Coast - Producer Behind the Policy” where we are getting to know the farmers and ranchers who rely on their Federal crop insurance to operate their farm businesses. With our first video, meet Jason Smith, grape grower with Valley Farm Management in Gonzales, California. Jason knows that farming is about the risks of Mother Nature: frost, heat, fires, and smoke…and the risks of the marketplace. Jason is also joined by Natalie Collins with the California Association of Winegrape Growers who shares the importance of crop insurance to the entire industry.
