President Donald Trump’s nominee to run the agency responsible for a major federal broadband expansion program pledged to “finish the job” and get Americans connected quickly. Arielle Roth, a former telecom policy director for the Senate Commerce Committee, told members of that committee that if confirmed as the new administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration she would work “expeditiously” to get people online through the $42 billion Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program.
