Our dedicated participants learned valuable skills that will equip them to serve in times of crisis, providing essential support to communities affected by disasters. This course is a crucial step toward becoming a trained EDS volunteer, and we’re so proud of everyone who joined us! Together, we can #DoTheMostGood and bring hope to those who need it most.

The Salvation Army of Tulsa, Oklahoma reposted this
On Sunday, our Disaster Resource Manager, Wayde, was deployed to Stillwater to assist those affected by the wildfires. Many families lost everything, and Wayde, along with two incredible volunteers, Cathy and Doris, worked to provide meals, emotional support, and a listening ear to those struggling to process the devastation. Wayde shared, “In the face of overwhelming challenges that disasters bring, simply being there – offering a kind word, a hot meal, a cold bottle of water, or a moment of prayer – can make all the difference. But most importantly, taking the time to listen to people’s stories and hearing about the struggles they’re facing is what truly matters.” Our hearts go out to those affected.
