Today marks the 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 of Sanctuary Runners 🎂 🎉 We have been sharing our highlights for each of the last 7 years across our social media channels, from 2018 where an idea took hold and 200 people - 40 different nationalities, took part in the Cork City Marathon for the first time. 2019, where we won the first of many awards, through 2020 where Olympian Claire Lambe kept us together with our Sanctuary Strength zoom workouts. Each year saw our movement grow, with groups forming in cities and towns around Ireland. Today we have over 40 groups and continue to grow both in Ireland and internationally, bringing people together in friendship and solidarity, building bridges in communities, fostering friendships. This lovely birthday message was put together by Baker from our Buncrana group to celebrate 7 years of Sanctuary Runners.
