At the recent Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) conference, we shook things up a little by bringing a Scene patient advisor and former program participant on stage with us. Meet Michael and hear about his incredible transformation, being the first in his family to break the cycle of diabetes.

About us
Scene Health (formerly emocha Health) is solving the decades-old problem of medication nonadherence by leveraging the power of people, science, and technology. Our 360° model of care enhances the gold standard of medication adherence, Directly Observed Therapy. Combining personalized video coaching, education, and motivational content, we bring healthcare professionals, patients, and their families together to solve the $500B medication nonadherence problem. Our mobile app allows patients to connect with a care team of pharmacists, nurses, and health coaches through daily video check-ins, anytime and anywhere. We make it fun for patients to stay on top of their medications, help them address any medication challenges, and empower them to improve their health by identifying and addressing barriers to adherence related to social determinants of health. Over 120 customers across the healthcare landscape use our medication engagement program to improve medication adherence for patients with chronic and infectious diseases.

This World TB Day, we are honored to share this video from Jackie, a TB advocate, former TB patient, and Scene Health program participant. TB treatment can be inconvenient, intrusive, and isolating, but we’re pleased that our program can make the process more manageable for patients. We’re proud to work with over 750 public health departments to provide video Directly Observed Therapy, which the CDC recognizes as an equivalent treatment observation method to traditional DOT, to TB patients nationwide. #WorldTBDay #TB #Tuberculosis #PublicHealth #VideoDirectlyObservedTherapy #VDOT

If you want to take a closer look at our poster from this week's ISCTM conference, you can download it here: https://lnkd.in/eHC-VvUc For more information about how we can facilitate improved adherence and cost savings in your trials, see our website: https://lnkd.in/epkcryK6
My first ISCTM conference definitely won’t be my last. I’m excited to present Scene Health ‘s poster about how our video direct observation service secured protocol adherence in a Phase 2 Major Depression Disorder trial. The description is a mouthful but I’ll be more concise when you stop by poster #36. #lifesciences #clinicaltrials #adherence #MDD #innovation

Proud to see our CEO, Sebastian Seiguer, JD, MBA, testifying at the budget meeting for the Education, Business, and Administration Subcommittee of the Maryland Senate on Friday. Sebastian spoke about the impact TEDCO's early investment had on the success and growth of our company, enabling Scene to build its first app to serve a commercial customer in 2014. Since then, we've come a long way, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recognizing asynchronous Directly Observed Therapy as the standard of care for monitoring tuberculosis treatment. Scene is proud to be a Maryland-born company, serving public health and managed care organizations across Maryland and the US!

Deidre exemplifies a lot of patients in our program. At first, she wasn't ready to make changes and felt unsure about recording herself. Once she was motivated to join, she became a pro! With support from our care team, a change in her medications, and the formation of healthy habits, she is feeling better, and her blood pressure is lower.
