Looking back, we had an incredible time attending the 2024 Frankfurter Buchmesse last week, the largest gathering of the publishing world in Europe. With over 100,000 attendees, check out the official Frankfurter Buchmesse #2024 round up video below 👇 It was Sounded's second time attending and it continues to amaze. This global event is a critical space for publishing deals, innovation, networking and showcasing the latest industry trends. This years #BookFair was also jam packed with insightful sessions, conversations and updates from industry leaders including Carlo Carrenho, Nathan Hull, Javier Celaya & Jon Watt. From Niclas Sandin's data-driven breakdown of the #Nordic #audiobook market, to exciting updates from Amanda D'Acierno (Penguin Random House) and Lee Jarit Jarrett (Audible), the future of audio publishing is bright! Catching with friends at the Independent Publishers Guild and The Publishers Association was also great. We also found Bookwire GmbH's announcement on an automatic Text and Data Mining (TDM) opt-out to be timely and aligned with responsible use of digital content.
