Today is Marching Music Day, a celebration of the rich history and vibrant culture of marching bands. When we think of marching bands, school marching band programs often come to mind. Not only do they teach discipline and foster school spirit, but they also build community and provide an outlet for creative and physical expression. Our Associates at Music & Arts support these programs, partnering with schools to provide instruments and keep the tradition of marching music alive! Let us march forth and celebrate the passion and energy of marching bands everywhere🥁🎺 #LifeAtGCC #marchingmusicday #marchingbands

March is Women’s History Month and the Guitar Center Company celebrates the incredible women who have shattered the glass ceiling in the music industry by breaking barriers, challenging expectations, and creating opportunities where none existed before. From pioneering artists who redefined genres, like Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Taylor Swift, to producers and engineers, like Emily Lazar and Sylvia Robinson, who transformed the sounds of music, women have played an essential role in shaping the industry today. We honor their legacy, amplify their voices, and recognize the ongoing work that still needs to be done. #LifeAtGCC #womenshistorymonth #womeninmusic

Another day, another legendary musician visits with Customers at our Guitar Center Hollywood store! Earlier this month, three-time Grammy winner Steve Vai hosted an event to celebrate the launch of the Positive Grid Spark MINI Vai amplifier. Guests were treated to an up close and personal meet and greet with Steve where he shared some amazing stories, talked about the new amp, and performed a few songs. He connected with fans, taking the time to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Check out photos from the evening! Who will visit our Hollywood store next?! #LifeAtGCC
