For office workers, day 1 starts with a computer and email, providing instant access to company resources, workflows, and communications—everything needed for success. These tools support workers throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Unfortunately for the 80% of global workers (2.7 billion people) without a desk, access is limited. No dedicated hardware. Analog resources dominate. Digital communication is rare. Both workers and managers are left with a scattered, sprawling, and chaotic workplace. Without a centralized hub, those challenges are unsolvable—until now. UnDesked organizes the deskless workplace. But the UnDesked workplace has different needs as well. An office is an office. But for an UnDesked worker, the workplace could be a factory or facility, a warehouse or a worksite, or even a work vehicle. It could change daily or even hourly. Employees are frequently on their feet and on the move. They need a platform that can move with them. So that every environment and every worker is equipped with the right resources. This always-relevant and easily-used access to technology is needed by every type of UnDesked worker in every type of UnDesked workplace. A platform dynamic enough to enable managers to curate resources, workflows, and communications based on the people using them and the places from which they’re accessed. UnDesked workplaces have personnel differences as well. There is more onboarding and offboarding and cross-training. There are more temporary workers, seasonal workers, and part-time employees. Allocating dedicated hardware to each worker doesn’t make sense logistically or financially. By using a mix of digital signage, touchscreens, tablets, and employee-provided mobile devices, UnDesked allows companies to instantly add and revoke access to technology without the costs and headaches that come with IT-assigned end user devices.

Did you know that 80% of the entire global workforce (2.7 billion people) don't have a company email or a company computer. We call them the UnDesked. I know what you're thinking. No way it's that big. Yeah, I had the same thought, but they are in every factory, warehouse, restaurant, hotel, retail store, delivery vehicle etc. It's actually easier to tell you who does have an email. Tech, corporste HQ and managers. That's about it. You've just been fortunate and had jobs that has them. As we examined how companies and this massive workforce interacted with one another it was terrifying what we discovered. How do they get job assignments, gain access to resources, onboard, train, put in maintenance requests, report incidents, etc. Let's just say it's WILD.
