Very excited to share that I've completed an enriching Natural Language Processing(NLP) course at UC Berkeley this quarter(Part of my Masters degree)! Delving into the intricacies of language comprehension and analysis has been truly enlightening. As we explored concepts like information extraction, sentiment analysis, and machine translation, I couldn't help but reflect on the significance of attention in NLP. Indeed, "Attention is all you need"(Transformer based model) proved to be a guiding principle throughout our studies. 🏥 Neurodiversity inclusion done right: The UC Davis MIND Institute created a vaccine clinic that promoted the wellbeing of neurodiverse patients. Beyond administering vaccines, the clinic sought to help patients of all ages become more familiar medical settings and teach them the skills they would need to thrive in such environments. 🧑‍⚕️ Medical providers received training specific to neurodiverse individuals, their unique support needs, and how to work with families on providing safe and effective care. If every hospital could build off of the success of this clinic to create a welcoming space for patients of all needs, imagine how less scary they could be for people! Huge kudos to the team at UC Davis for their attention to detail and thoughtfulness for the neurodiversity community. I have been working on training Bangla large language models for last 6 months, specially Llama-2 and Llama-3 based model. I wasted 2 weeks trying to make Unsloth work for my Bengali dataset. Interestingly Axolotl supports Unsloth too to some extent.
