Project: Poverty has designed the Alchemist Academy, as an intensive after school program that features business plan development, introduction to business concepts such as market analysis, marketing, accounting, leadership and communication skills. Alchemist Academies will become an integral part of community development as it will stimulate and foster the next generation of innovators, businesses and self-sustaining business ventures. We believe that self-sustaining businesses created, maintained and owned by people, who would otherwise live in poverty, can directly reduce the influence of poverty over entire communities.
The goal of the Alchemist Academy is to create the most effective, yet sustainable model for introducing entrepreneurship to ‘at risk’ teens.Other creators -
