Here's how you can guide and support younger team members as a professional in late career.
It is vital to decide what type of leader you want to be. You can do this by reflecting on the positive and negative leadership examples you've seen in your own career, as well as through learning about leadership. Many people stumble into leadership roles and never really consider what their values are and how they will express those in leadership. That's one reason we see so many poor leaders. Decide what kind of a leader you will be. Find leaders who you respect and emulate them. Identify poor leaders and learn what not to do from them. But above all, think and decide who YOU will be as a leader. http://www.recoveringsalesguy.com

Here's how you can guide and support younger team members as a professional in late career.
If you look at your work, not as a career, but as a craft, you will inevitably be much more successful. Here's how you can guide and support younger team members as a professional in late career.
When looking for a mentor, you obviously want someone whose opinion and guidance you respect. Make sure you also choose someone who will not just tell you good stuff, but is willing and able to tell you what you really don't want to hear. I've written a bit about this here. https://recoveringsalesguy.substack.com/p/who-do-you-trust-to-tell-you-what?r=6pra2

Here's how you can guide and support younger team members as a professional in late career.
Keeping balance is difficult because, despite words to the contrary, companies set up incentives, work processes, and systems to ensure you work all the time. One of the best ways to ensure you have more balance is to decide "How much is enough" in key areas of your life, including money, work, sex, houses, possessions. Do this, and you can build a framework to ensure you have not just a good career, but a great life. I've written a bit on this here: https://recoveringsalesguy.substack.com/p/how-much-is-enough
