A Simple Reminder: Always Ask Questions to Your Customers and Prospects   I recently worked on a deal where we were adding switches for expansion, and I assumed it was a greenfield deployment. However, my customer was looking to integrate the new switches into an existing stack. Long story short, we shipped out switches with Network Advantage because the customer was looking for advanced Layer 3 features. Unfortunately, his existing stack was running Network Essentials, which obviously caused compatibility issues. With over $40M in stock, we were able to get additional switches shipped out the next day but this could have been avoided with better communication and qualifying questions upfront. Simple Reminder: Same feature set: All switches need to run the same version, like Network Essentials and Network Advantage.
