I'm a proud graduate of one of New York's top three high public schools. This is also where I got my start as a student leader. I was President of the school's Latin Club, where I organized large competitions and planned activities and Secretary of our Black affinity group. I was also a rapper and performed at several shows. I was President of the school's Latin Club, where I organized large competitions and planned activities and Secretary of our Black affinity group. I was also a rapper and performed at several shows. Performing was my first foray into going from consumer to creator and a master class in product management. Alongside a frequent co-conspirator, we set a vision, aligned resources, and pulled in various influences to produce bodies of work for distribution.

As an alumni, I've participated in several tech related events and have engaged with other alumni to explore ways to increase Black and Latino enrollment and achievement at Science.

I studied people in college. Wasn’t that the whole point of that enterprise?

If tech exists to enhance humanity, we should understand humans.

The future requires humans to be more human (creative, influential, collaborative, imaginative) than ever.

If tech exists to enhance humanity, we should understand humans.

The future requires humans to be more human (creative, influential, collaborative, imaginative) than ever.

B.U is a "public-Ivy": a top-value school that attracts top students from across NYS and beyond. We're smart, we're scrappy, and are built to win.

This major cultivated my love for interdisciplinary thinking and understanding people, while exploring the dynamic African continent. Studying Africana prepared me to be highly cross-functional and an excellent verbal and written communicator. In the future, I will be looking into entrepreneurial opportunities in the continent.

I grew as a leader via various organizations, most significantly as a VP of our fully student-run Student Association. As a student leader, I discovered my love for building products and experiences (such as publications, events) that matter with passionate people.

  • Activities and Societies: National Society of Black Engineers

While at BringMeThat I realized just how much I loved technology and started exploring Computer Science at Lehman College, where I developed a strong theoretical background that I bridged to practice via the Flatiron School iOS immersive program. Lehman is full of passionate, scrappy students. Our CS department is currently producing gems that are actively changing the very face of technology.

  • I was selected as a fellow for a NYC Tech Talent Pipeline scholarship for the school's well regarded immersive course. For me this was an accelerator in my software engineering career. It bridged my theoretical computer science knowledge from school to practice, while meeting other great technologists. In addition to receiving a robust immersion in iOS, I was introduced to peer programming and honed my ability to communicate technical topics.

Enza Academy is an innovation lab for underresourced public school students. We teach kids how to recognize and build solutions to the real problems around them using design thinking principles and software development. I have taught classes on basic coding and mentored students in coding and business model development.
