Something I've been thinking about with root causes in program management... We love to add complexity when things go wrong. More processes. More tools. More checkpoints. But I've noticed that successful programs usually do the opposite. They strip away complexity until they find what's actually broken. Sometimes the best solution is removing things, not adding them. Getting back to actual conversations instead of just reviewing metrics. The simplest fix is usually the right one. We just have to be brave enough to choose it. What's something you removed from a process that actually made it work better?
