The EPA recently announced 2024-2027 enforcement priorities, and HFC compliance is now the #3 priority across all regulations. If your company uses or manages hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), you need to ensure you’re in full compliance with the AIM (American Innovation and Manufacturing) Act. The EPA is cracking down on non-compliance, and businesses that aren’t meeting requirements will be targeted. What this means: Inspections will increase Fines and penalties for violations Reputational risks for those who don’t comply Now is the time to assess your refrigerant systems, transition to compliant alternatives, and implement advanced leak detection.
