    At Carnegie Mellon, I was a student in the Fine Arts department where I studied Design and how to think about the world. My mentor, the late Lee Goldman, showed me the interrelationships between cultures and inspired my love for cultural anthropology. I also spent hours and hours with Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti, learning about architecture.

    At Carnegie Mellon, I was a student in the Fine Arts department where I studied Design and how to think about the world. I also spent hours and hours with Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti, learning about architecture.

    My time at CMU introduced me to Design Thinking principles — how to solve a problem by looking at the audience, understanding their capacity to understand the solution, and communicating in a language that resonated emotionally.

    Carnegie Mellon taught me how to think about design, Cranbrook taught me the fundamentals of taking that thinking and translating it into powerful visual imagery. My two years at Cranbrook represented incredible growth in how I saw the world, how to master typography, and its relationship to imagery to tell stories that resonated with the viewer.
