Median Price: $1,115,000 (+1.4% YoY): Home prices have risen slightly, indicating a stable, appreciating market. Days on Market: 24 days (down from 29 last year): Homes are selling more quickly, suggesting high buyer interest and a competitive market. 🏘️ Condominiums: 341 condos sold (+10% YoY): There’s been an increase in condo sales, showing continued demand in this segment. Median Price: $530,000 (+2.7% YoY): Condo prices have increased, reflecting growth in the mid-range market. Days on Market: 32 days (up from 23 last year): Condos are taking longer to sell, likely due to higher inventory and less urgency among buyers compared to single-family homes. 📊 Market Activity: New Listings: 297 single-family homes (+11.2%) and 598 condos (+30.9%): There has been an increase in new listings, showing a growing inventory and more options for buyers. According to a new study by RentCafe, Gen Z renters living in the Bay Area are on track to spend up to $300,000 in rent by the time they reach age 30, roughly double what the average Gen Z renter nationwide will spend. Most notably, San Jose and San Francisco are the most expensive markets, the only ones in the nation where Gen Zers will spend a total of more than $250,000 on rent by age 30.
