Put simply, more choice for the advisor means a higher likelihood of finding your utopia 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 - Advisors across the landscape are "thinking of their business like a business" (Quote credit to Mindy Diamond). Whether that's planning a well timed move to net a lucrative recruiting deal, or building business equity in the Independent space, most moves are planned with "Enterprise Value" in mind. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥  - To put it bluntly...advisors are sick of arbitrary rules that limit how they can best serve their clients, this is a consistent "push" factor for those considering change.
