Most entrepreneurs assume their new carbidigulator’s features are so legendary, customers will just “get” what it does, what problems it solves, and why it’s valuable. Big mistake. The wheel is arguably the most pivotal human innovation. At first, it was used for pottery. And, it took over 300 years(!)... ...before some genius had the a-ha: “What if we flip this thing on its side and use it for transportation!?” So why do you assume people will instantly understand how your product makes a difference???? Market your product, and I assume you want my money. Market my problem, and I assume you want to help me. – 📌 Want to clearly articulate a problem you solve? It's all funnels, all the time. We seem to be in a funnel in most of our online lives. For a long time, I was unclear on how to think about a funnel for your content. TOFU MOFU BOFU Are these all alternative meats? NO. OK. Let's figure it out: ➜ Top of funnel (𝗧𝗢𝗙𝗨). It’s where it all starts. -- Think of it as your introduction. -- You're casting a wide net. You’re sharing broad, engaging content. -- It’s about catching attention. -- Tell stories. -- Share interesting insights, industry trends, and relatable day-in-the-life posts. -- You’re not selling yet – just bringing people in. It’s like saying, "I exist". ➜ Middle of funnel (𝗠𝗢𝗙𝗨). Now, let’s get a bit closer. -- People know who you are. -- Time to build trust. -- Offer value. -- Share deeper content, such as how-to, problem-solving, and case studies. -- Show why you’re the expert. -- Think of it like having coffee and saying, "Here’s how/why I can help you." ➜ Bottom of funnel (𝗕𝗢𝗙𝗨). We’re at the end. -- Now it’s about conversion. -- People need that final push. -- Share actionable posts. -- Talk about your services, client testimonials, and detailed product info. -- You’re answering, “Why should I buy from you?”. -- How can you help me solve my problem?
