Goals should be driven by passion, mission, purpose, and vision, all fueled by intentionality. 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈! It gradually reveals your vision and brings clarity to your uniqueness, allowing you to focus on experimenting with your true calling here on earth, step by step, day by day, even with the smallest acts of courage. This mindset, together with my personal brand symbol (a light-bulbed Rubik’s Cube in different states) guides me daily and has enabled me to reflect on my experiences over the past two years when I embarked on a passionate self-discovery journey. You might not have realized it, but... Your fear of failure may be crippling you in ways you may never have even considered. And for Black and Brown professional women, that fear may be compounded by the pressure of being the ONLY representative of our race and/or gender in the room or organization. The result? Overwhelming pressure, nervousness, and a tendency to overanalyze minor slip-ups, making them seem more significant than they actually are. Chances are, everyone else may have already moved on from the error but you. And the self-generated fear of making a mistake again could be standing in the way of your future progress. The truth is, messing up builds resilience. And just because you're the only, you do not need to take on the added pressure of perfection. You're only human.  Keep going. Keep growing. Generating that growth mindset frees us from the paralyzing fear of not being perfect. To help you put your fear in perspective, remember this acronym: FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. It's time to dethrone that sense of perfection you think you have to achieve and flip the script. If you can remove those mental negative self-talk roadblocks, you'll return to your authentic self and become unstoppable. If the fear/perfectionist mindset is something you struggle with, read my suggestion in the comments below. Now I want to hear from you: Think of your biggest missteps at work. Was it really as big a deal as it seemed at the time? How did you grow from the experience?

Start by noticing the small things. Take a moment to let them sink in. Savor. The good times add up and your brain creates new pathways.
