Slideout/side carts tend to work better than anything else Shopify default cart forces a new page to load & users have to navigate back & forth if they want to view more products Less than optimal experience that adds up negatively a lot, especially if people typically buy more than 1 product on your site

While on-page SEO work (fixing page code and such) and link-building are sound practices, what we have found is that writing good content with preplanned custom urls gets you on page 1 even faster. We've seen it happen in 2-4 weeks. I know people say that "people don't read" but in a business context, I find that they do, as long as you give them something they can use and that is easy to read. To this day, I see people with long blocky blog posts and am perplexed they go that route for B2B content...

That said, I loved seeing the canonical url when running a cache query.
