I am regular volunteer for the Shaker Heights City School District. I work with the PTO to help coordinate events, market events with social media, and more. Over the years I have painted kids' faces at school carnivals and co-produced the school plays. Like most parents, I wear many hats at my children's schools!

Worked with three other people to completely resurrect a long-ago-established farmers market that was almost completely defunct. Together we raised the funds necessary to attract farmers and buyers from all over the city and beyond. Many awards have been won, and today the market is one of Mississippi's most thriving. The committee successfully handed over the management of the market to Main Street Columbus and its Board of Directors.

In the last 24 months 95% of my income has been generated by online courses. In the last 24 months 95% of my income has been generated by online courses. That is to say, I come up with a topic that I think people will want to learn about, I create lessons with videos and worksheets, I publish this information to a teaching platform, and I sell it. People are learning about this revolutionary new-ish industry, but mostly it's still obscure to most of the world. (Even though this industry generated more than $150 billion dollars last year). To say I'm passionate about online courses is an understatement. I think everyone has a course inside of them. That's why I created "My Little Course". It allows you to start the course creation process from the very beginning, as a total newbie. I walk you through all the tech. But your mission is to keep it small. You are teaching a very specific topic. You can do this in 48 hours or less and I show you exactly how in this short, action-packed course. Mini courses are the most wonderful way to grow your leads and build and audience.

After watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Ib3Duz_6a9M, where reporter Ben Aaron rallies a bunch of New Yorkers walking down the street to dance with him down the street, as a form of exercise, it occurred to me that this would work in Cleveland, and everywhere! I created the web page and the Facebook page, tweeted it out to a couple of reporters, and we had between 40-50 people show up at our first event.

Using social media to launch the effort, I created Flash Cashers® as a grassroots effort to support small local businesses. Essentially, it is a "cash mob". That is to say, in a moment's notice, members will visit a local small business and shop. This notice is sent out via email. I send out press releases on behalf of Flashcashers prior to an event, and help the merchant during the Flash, when necessary.
