Wow. This is great from the Las Vegas Raiders Digital is now 100% the way of the world, but every now and then, something tangible and memorable will stand out. What I love about this is that they still use individual game tickets - it's that collectible element and having a new crisp ticket for each game. This could actually circle back round into the digital world - Season tickets could be a digital to improve on safety, efficiency and sustainability but you could still create that real game day experience with a digital booklet of tickets as a opposed to a single, season long card. Why not extend its purpose to collectible ticket stubs and other digital items or rewards, building engagement, connecting fans and importantly capturing and bringing data into the mix. There's a lot to delve and possibilities are pretty much endless, but the foundation still lies in the tried, tested and loved original way of delivering season tickets. As an (ex)professional dancer, I like to think this is true! Years of developing work-life INTEGRATION have a lot to do with it. As a dancer I've seen people get very excited about the dance and go straight for intense training without building up their capacity. Resulting in injuries and burn-out. As a professional dancer and long-time entrepreneur, I've built up my capacity over many years and can do increasingly demanding work. It's about: - working more hours - controlling our thoughts - managing our energy - switching off when wanted - holding burnouts, depression and loss of confidence at bay With increased responsibility and success, one needs to get even better at these... Multiple baseball teams set records for single game ticket sales revenue during the 2024 playoffs. That achievement is the byproduct of strong demand for Major League Baseball (MLB)’s postseason product and a savvy –albeit debatable– ticket sales strategy intended to recapture revenue leakage. Clubs recognize that “fans are agnostic to where they get their tickets and have started making pricing decisions for both the primary market, which they obviously control in full, and large portions of the secondary market, which is a mix of the organization and other sellers,” one BI executive said. That is why the two have moved more in concert with one another this fall than typically seen. The ratio may be wrong (48 pickle, only 2 padel!) but this new club in Arizona is still worthy of a mention. The possibility of 200 people on court, under one roof, at the same time playing both of the world's fastest growing sports is slightly epic. And perhaps more than a little noisy (the pickleball if any planners are reading!). Question. why are padel and pickleball such easy bedfellows? The games and courts are very different, not even sure there's an established player demographic link. Pickleball and badminton we could understand but padel 🤨. Sports teams and soft drink companies have forged enduring and profitable partnerships over the years, but I've always believed these deals could be even more beneficial for both parties. Historically, partnership potential has been constrained by limited resources on both sides. Teams typically lack sufficient personnel to develop sustainable channel promotions, while global brands like Coca-Cola often don't invest the time and budget to create unique promotions in each individual club market. I believe team-branded loyalty points could help overcome these constraints by establishing a uniform affinity currency capable of supporting DTC promotions and B2B deals. 1. Channel promotions: if a portion of Coca-Cola's club spending were allocated to Club Points, then Coke could use team points as both an activation and sales tool. Coke could pass through team points to its retail partners, enabling them to reward fans who visit stores and purchase Coca-Cola products. This approach should help Coca-Cola increase case and syrup sales while securing more retail displays. 2. Fan Engagement: Coca-Cola could offer Club Points to fans for participating in sweepstakes, online promotions, or sampling events. This would help Coca-Cola gather valuable fan data and address one of its biggest challenges: knowing its end users. 3. Per cap pending: At ballparks, fans could use accrued Club Points to purchase more Coca-Cola products or earn additional points by buying Coca-Cola during games. Beyond sports, the overlap between team corporate partners and Coca-Cola's retail network is fascinating. As a team sponsorship seller, I'd be excited to use a Club Points program to engage existing partners and pitch new ones, using points as a compelling hook. With points serving as a common currency, clubs can forge partnerships with myriad brands. And club partners could even establish bespoke points-exchange rates to conduct deals directly with each other within the team ecosystem. Branded points can even enhance Coca-Cola's MLB (league) partnership in concert with club-level deals. The possibilities for expanding team/soft drink partnerships are endless, which isn't always advantageous since teams and partners often lack the time to pursue all opportunities. But that's where Minty Sports comes in. We provide the software, services, and strategy needed to bring loyalty commerce programs and partnerships to life. The Minty Sports system could create a currency for MLB that allows each team to have its own distinct, branded points that interchangeable with league points. League / team data could also be shareable. A few years ago, we embarked on a mission to reimagine basketball competition. Our goal was to create a lifelong basketball experience, much like golf, allowing players to enjoy the game and compete for a lifetime. We wanted to keep the passion for playing alive, not just spectating. The result: a game centered around shooting, capturing the thrill of a real basketball game including the excitement and drama around a real crowd and announcer generated through AI. This shooting game format allows players to enjoy the game without the typical hurdles of needing to be in good aerobic shape, endure physical contact, and play defense. Our game is played locally and virtually across the Shoot 360 network. It's structured in four quarters, with teams of three players and dynamic scoring involving 2, 3, and 5 pointers, adding elements of skill and strategy. We use our scoreboards above the baskets to track real time individual and team scoring and stats. It's all summarized in our App with all the game schedules, stats, game results, and leaderboards. The game can be played in leagues, tournaments, and open runs, offering a range of competitive formats just like the traditional game. Above all, the game is simply fun to play, focusing on the thrilling aspect of shooting. We're focused on getting basketball enthusiasts off the sidelines and back into the game, engaging millions of people in the U.S. and worldwide. With over 175 million enthusiasts in the U.S. and 2.5 billion globally, the potential is enormous and incredibly exciting! I've never been prouder of our team, and after countless hours of development and testing, we launched Shoot 360 Leagues a few weeks ago, starting with a beta across the U.S. and into Canada, involving 300 players in an international league with over 100 teams all playing locally and virtually across our facilities in real time! The feedback was phenomenal, and we're excited to see hundreds and then thousands of teams playing Shoot 360 Leagues soon.
