It's disheartening to hear about Dunzo‘s recent challenges, as the company has become a verb in everyday language,synonymous with quick and convenient delivery within the city. However, I believe there is still an opportunity for a turnaround. From my perspective, Dunzo can explore to leverage its existing strengths in last-mile delivery can expand into the pharmaceutical sector and tap into this market with significant growth potential. However, it's important to carefully consider the regulatory requirements and invest in the necessary infrastructure and expertise to ensure successful operations. With enough Market research there can be multiple ways it can approach this e-commerce Pharmaceutical world. But few approaches on top of my mind are : Prescription Delivery: * Partner with pharmacies: Collaborate with local pharmacies to offer prescription delivery services. * Temperature-controlled logistics: Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive medications. * Obtain necessary licenses: Obtain the required licenses and certifications to operate in the pharmaceutical sector. * Adhere to regulations: Comply with all relevant regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical delivery. * Partner with healthcare providers: Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes to deliver medical supplies and equipment. Had a great time at the Uber Gen AI Meetup in Bangalore! As I'm starting my Gen AI learning journey, it was amazing to see how experts are using AI to solve real problems. The year 2022 was a time of transition as the world was still trying to settle down in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during this period that I made the biggest career move of my life - I joined Amazon. Today marks my 2-year #Amaversary, and I couldn't be more grateful for the amazing journey that has unfolded since then. Back then, I had no idea what surprises were in store for me, but so far, it has been an incredible experience. Amazon is all about "Work Hard, Have Fun, and Make History," and I have fully embraced this spirit. The Amazon culture is truly unique, and it's essential to learn the art of unlearning and relearning when starting your Amazon journey to navigate it successfully. Over the past two years, I've been amazed by the many peculiarities that define the Amazon way of working. Those who don't know; below are a few: Metrics: “It changed by X%, from Y to Z”. At Amazon, everything is measured by metrics—from project launches and prioritization to operational excellence and peak planning. Success and failure are both evaluated based on data-driven metrics; yes, failure too. Writing: Writing the Amazon way is hard but efficient. Whether it’s a technical or non-technical document, you need time, effort, and iterations to meet high standards. It's a skill that takes time to develop. Working backwards: How often would it have happened that you took some goal without a target date, started working on it, but slowly and eventually you lost track of or interest in something that was important at one point? In Amazon, we set a target date and then plan backwords to meet that target. It is just shifting the order in which we typically work. Trust me, it's very powerful and changes everything. DFD (Dates-for-Date): Since I talked about working backwords, date is important. “When is this going to be done?” If the answer is not a precise date, you give a DFD, which means you will come back with a precise date by DFD. We always answer a question about dates with a date or a date-for-a-date. Beyond these peculiarities, Amazon’s culture is something that makes it stand out among other companies. Amazon’s culture is very thoughtfully defined, and that’s the reason Amazon has survived for 30 years. Our unique Amazon culture is described by our leadership principles: Customer Obsession, Ownership, Think Big, Invent and Simplify, Insist on High Standards , Learn and Be Curious, Bias for Action, and many others. Every now and then, we need to get rid of things we don’t use anymore to free up space. In Java, this cleanup process is handled by something called Garbage Collection. Just like the kabadiwala goes around looking for items you don’t need, the Garbage Collector (GC) in Java hunts for objects in memory that aren’t being used by your program anymore. Once it finds them, it clears them out to free up memory, making sure your program runs smoothly without any memory clutter. Now, imagine calling the kabadiwala too frequently; he might start interrupting your routine. Similarly, if the Garbage Collector runs too often, it can slow down your application—a phenomenon called GC overhead. On the flip side, if he comes too late, your home will start overflowing with junk, just like memory issues in Java! 📌 Key Takeaway: Java’s Garbage Collector is like your friendly neighborhood kabadiwala, keeping your memory clean. But timing is everything—clean up too often, and you’ll slow down, wait too long, and you’ll run out of space! #java #oracle

Always wondered what is passion? Everyone talks about it. You should work on your passion to become successful in your life. What is passion? It's the question I asked myself, but never got a clear answer till now. It may not be the same answer for you, but I got an answer which makes me accept it from the heart. The answer I found, Focus on happiness. Really, its that simple. If solving a mathematical problem gives you happiness thats your passion, If solving a problem in commute gives you happiness thats your passion, If solving a problem getting food to your doorstep in minutes gives you happiness thats your passion. If taking more challenges gives you happiness thats your passion. Focus on happiness, whether its job or a brand new startup to become successful. Ps: Don't take my words seriously. Let me be the first (maybe) to state how much I dislike this. Asinine at so many levels. Where do I start? First off: go watch the episode of The Office where Michael Scott decided to do a team morale event with employees sitting on top of tables. Season 3, Episode 8 ("The Merger"). Next: Ask ChatGPT how many push-ups the average person can do, and look at numbers as a function of age and gender. Finally: find someone you know who has a chronic injury, back surgery, hemorrhoids, high blood pressure, migraine, replaced herniated discs…. and ask them what they think. Oh, also ask the folks who are overweight, who are amputees, etc. Nice tactful touch too having women in loose button down shirts get on all fours to do push-ups in front of a bunch of men. I have lived through this with a very very large MNC where the team leader thought it would be a great idea for us to go for early morning 2K runs. No, I can't run. I can barely walk my I get a gout flare up. If that is the standard communicated to me by my friends, family, or company, I have no desire to meet this Soman dude or any supposed god-like figure.

As noted by Dhruv Singh Co-Founder & CTO of HoneyHive, Evals Agents Make Product Agent Reliability “Shoot Through the Roof.” So the really cool thing about going through the exercise of creating and optimizing an Evals Agent (aka Supervisor Agent), which is an agent built specifically to evaluate performance of your actual product focused agent. Is not only can it evaluate multi-turn agentic workflow performance after the fact (you know, by surfacing errors to your monitoring platform of choice) Once it is sufficiently optimized and not throwing off a ton of false positive errors etc… You can use it to boost live performance of your Agent by selecting the Best of N samples at runtime. More accurately, as Dhruv puts it, it becomes your test time search verifier. In basic terms, have your agent generate multiple outputs for a single step, and use your Evals agent to pick the best quality output to move forward with at runtime. > Sidebar, yes this means your agent will make even _more_ LLM calls (and agents already make a LOT of LLM calls). Note that OpenPipe makes it easy to cut costs/latency by fine-tuning a small model to achieve large model performance on your task. Working with Telemetry, Big Data, Beta Testing (Self-host), Automation & AI is the coolest job in the world. 🚀 The product & platform #Validation domain is a cornerstone of Intel Company and is of utmost importance. Thousands of validation engineers are responsible for ensuring the quality of our products. In my team, you can find Data analytics engineers with Validation backgrounds and Architects with deep knowledge of Telemetry, AI, and data. Our job is to modernize the validation. In other words, we use data, automation, and real users to improve the product's quality. Let's take a short example: Imagine you have 5,000 Test cases to run in the lab on dozens of setups & testers, with full coverage and a running time of 10 days. In addition to that, you also have thousands of real users who use the product daily, data collected from their systems and pulled 24/7 into the Telemetry databases. Feedback based on the data collected can be used to get those 5,000 tests (and many more real-life scenarios) done outside the lab environment without the need for additional lab coverage or testers. This is just one example of how Beta testing can be combined with AI models to optimize lab testing and identify new bugs at a very low cost and with wide coverage. That’s what my team is doing. 🛰 Product Validation (testing) in the high-tech industry has evolved significantly with the advent of advanced AI capabilities and endless data. Automation integration has enabled the generation of more insights than just finding bugs. To make a significant impact, testers must look for insights that can help improve the product, such as battery life, WiFi or BT performance, and graphics. Testing outside of a lab environment with real users is critical since lab results may differ in the real world. As a result, beta testing by real users is essential before any product or software release. Intel Corporation is a leading company in the field of product testing and invests heavily in advanced capabilities. Relying on data is now a critical tool in the field of validation. Therefore, validation engineers are not just required to be experts in the product or specific domain, but they also need to be skilled in reading information from a database. Biggest Misconceptions about EB1A I get a lot of people reaching out to me around my EB1A approval and the process around it, and I observe a real lack of understanding around the EB1A Visa process. Here are some of the biggest misconceptions about the EB1A visa: 1. Only for Nobel Prize Winners ❌: Many believe that the EB1A visa is only for individuals who have won major international awards like the Nobel Prize. In reality, meeting three out of ten criteria is sufficient. 2. Requires Extraordinary Achievement in Only One Field ❌: The EB1A visa recognizes achievements across various fields, including sciences, arts, education, business, and athletics. 3. Must Have U.S. Job Offer ❌: The EB1A visa does not require a job offer or labor certification, and individuals can self-petition. 4. Cannot Apply Without Legal Representation ❌: While having an attorney can be beneficial, individuals can successfully apply for the EB1A visa without legal representation, provided they thoroughly understand the requirements and process. 5. Lengthy Processing Time ❌: The processing time can be relatively short, especially with the option of premium processing. 6. Needs Extensive Publications ❌: Publications are just one of the ten criteria, and applicants can qualify through other significant achievements and contributions. 7. Only for Established Professionals ❌: Emerging talents and individuals with potential for continued achievements can also qualify if they meet the required criteria. 8. Immediate Approval if Criteria Met ❌: Meeting three out of the ten criteria does not guarantee approval. The USCIS also considers the overall strength of the case. 9. EB1A Has High Denial Rates ❌: EB1A applications are adjudicated based on the merits of the application. Unlike the H1B visa, which relies on a lottery system, the success of an EB1A application depends on understanding the requirements and preparing strong documentation. 10. Difficult to Prove Sustained National or International Acclaim ❌: Building a compelling EB1A profile involves strengthening individual criteria, providing strong recommendation letters, excluding weak evidence, and presenting a well-crafted narrative of the applicant’s extraordinary ability. 11. EB1A Receives High Requests for Evidence (RFEs) ❌: Every EB1A application is reviewed based on its own merit. Even if an RFE is issued, it provides an opportunity to address concerns and clarify misunderstandings. 12. Young Professionals Don’t Qualify for EB1A ❌: Young professionals who have made significant contributions to their field and achieved major milestones can still qualify for the EB1A. The term "sustained" does not specify a time frame or age limit. ### Final Note 🐉🗡️🛡️ Every profile is different, and it takes time to build a strong, organic profile.
