Emulation based verification of Calc1
- Language used : SystemVerilog
– Implemented a synthesizable design of a calculator with add, subtract, left and right shift capability, and ran it on standalone mode of the emulator.
– Developed a BFM interface for communication between the emulator and the testbench running on the server
– Tested alternate communication channel using virtual interface with classes.

Verification of Instruction Set Architecture Simulator of PDP-8 minicomputer

· Created a detailed micro-architectural specification and a detailed functional coverage based test plan.
· Added immediate and concurrent based assertions, random and deterministic testing capability, checkers, scoreboards, coverage measurement capability for the execution unit(unit level verification) and for full chip(Fullchip level verification). -

• Incorporated a Wishbone host interface into existing RTL of a memory controller for NAND Flash
• Verified the controller output for a subset of ONFI compliant Flash commands (Reset, Read Page, Program Page, Erase Block, Read ID, Read Status)
• Accelerated verification of the design by emulation on Mentor Veloce platform in TBX (Testbench Express) mode using BFM method.

Wrote synthesizable models of combinational and sequential circuits in SystemVerilog. Generated Netlist, Timing and Power reports using Synopsys Design compiler. Modified the gate-delays in SDF file to given values, added timing constraints of flip-flops and reported all timing violations at a given clock frequency.
