Pro Tip Monday - Stick built vs unitized demountable wall systems: Stick built systems arrive at the project in parts and pieces. They are cut, assembled, and installed on site. Unitized Panels are assembled in the factory (quality control at the factory level) and arrive on site ready for installation. There are times when each type of system has an advantage (for example, Stick built might be effective when openings cannot be measured until late in the schedule... Unitized Panels could be a better solution if a condensed installation time is required.) This conversation with the Client, designer and contractor is critical to help determine the right system for each application. Dealer choice matters – Make sure your dealer consults with you and does not “sell” you.
