The companies we all work with and for continue to change. -Some change is good -Some change is bad 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑫𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆❓ We have taken a unique position in our industry... 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀... -Multiple geographies -Multiple companies The way we do it is not for everyone on the industry side. 🌟 Driving change for a more diverse and inclusive dental industry: Our 2023 sustainability report is here! 🌟 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion aren’t just buzzwords—they’re the cornerstone of our culture at Dentsply Sirona. Every year, our sustainability report reflects our dedication to fostering a workplace where everyone can truly thrive. Here are our key DE&I achievements this year: 🌍 Gender Pay Parity: We have achieved total average gender pay parity across our global workforce—ahead of our 2025 target (Based on data from the first half of 2024). 🚀 Diverse Hiring and Gender Parity: In 2023, we introduced a diverse hiring checklist, achieving 44% gender parity globally. 🤝 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Our ERG program grew by 46% compared to 2022, adding new groups for Latino and family-focused employees, creating spaces for DE&I conversations and community-building. 📚 Training and Development: More than 10,300 employees engaged in inclusive conversations, including unconscious bias and cross-cultural communication. ♿ Inclusion of Individuals with Disabilities: End of 2023, we entered a 4-year partnership with the International Association for Disability & Oral Health to promote equitable access to high quality oral healthcare for patients with disabilities. We also partnered with APAE in Brazil to support the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in our workforce. I am incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made together in 2023. ⭐ Driving inclusion forward: Honoring Disability Awareness Month ⭐ An inclusive environment starts with education and action. At Dentsply Sirona, our Employee Resource Group, ABLE@DS, is leading impactful initiatives that deepen understanding of the diverse experiences of people with disabilities. We recently hosted an online event featuring ambassadors from our Wellspect HealthCare brand who shared their personal journeys of living with a disability. This virtual panel offered attendees insights into the day-to-day challenges and triumphs of those with disabilities, fostering greater awareness and empathy. Through open discussions we were able to connect meaningfully, providing both inspiration and practical advice for creating a more inclusive society. Recently, we celebrated the success of STEPtember, where our global colleagues came together to take over 10 million steps and raise more than AUS$2,300 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, an organization dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy and funding research into the condition. Together, we took meaningful steps towards a more inclusive future. 💪 On October 9, our location in Bensheim, Germany, had the honor of taking part in the nationwide “Schichtwechsel” campaign day for the first time! "Schichtwechsel," which translates to "Shift Change," is a German initiative aimed at promoting inclusion in the workplace. On this day, employees from the Behindertenhilfe Bergstraße gGmbH (bhb), a non-profit that supports people with disabilities, spent the day collaborating and exchanging with some of our production employees. A great initiative that breaks down barriers and paves the way for more inclusion in the world of work! 🌍✨ As we honored Disability Awareness Month this October, we celebrated the contributions of people with disabilities and emphasized the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and equity. This virtual panel offered attendees insights into the day-to-day challenges and triumphs of those with disabilities, fostering greater awareness and empathy. Through open discussions we were able to connect meaningfully, providing both inspiration and practical advice for creating a more inclusive society. Recently, we celebrated the success of STEPtember, where our global colleagues came together to take over 10 million steps and raise more than AUS$2,300 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, an organization dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy and funding research into the condition. Together, we took meaningful steps towards a more inclusive future. 💪 On October 9, our location in Bensheim, Germany, had the honor of taking part in the nationwide “Schichtwechsel” campaign day for the first time! "Schichtwechsel," which translates to "Shift Change," is a German initiative aimed at promoting inclusion in the workplace. On this day, employees from the Behindertenhilfe Bergstraße gGmbH (bhb), a non-profit that supports people with disabilities, spent the day collaborating and exchanging with some of our production employees. A great initiative that breaks down barriers and paves the way for more inclusion in the world of work! 🌍✨ As we honored Disability Awareness Month this October, we celebrated the contributions of people with disabilities and emphasized the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and equity. Fostering true inclusion starts with learning.
