This article provides some better questions to ask instead of "Is this accessible?" It is important to consider the standard you're using to define "accessible" like WCAG 2.1. These are all great tips, but I disagree that "You MAY also want to try and do what people aren't supposed to do." I think this is a CRITICAL step that any good e-Learning QA process MUST include. So often, we just test our e-Learning courses by taking them in order as we expect the typical user to do, but users may end up doing things out of order, accidentally click somewhere they weren't supposed to, or go backwards in a course to review something and then rapidly navigate out again, and if course isn't thoroughly tested to see how it behaves when unexpected behavior occurs, it may well break in those situations. Needless to say, when a learner is stuck and the course appears to be broken, they're going to get frustrated, they're not going to be learning, and the credibility of the course and the team that created it may get called into question. So I implore you e-Learning developers out there: thoroughly test your courses and do ALL the things people aren't supposed to do.
