  • Distributed Conferencing System

    This project offers a fault tolerant conferencing system that is distributed, real time and collaborative. It uses Vector clocks to implement partial ordering of messages.Total ordering is achieved in case of concurrent vector clocks by sorting the user list with respect to their joining time at the Central Server. It is a causal atomic broadcast system.

    The project aimed at development of app or a browser plug-in which could work in combination with messaging services in order to detect whether the person on the other end is a legitimate user or not. The project is based on the fact that every person has its own way of chatting ,therefore we can identify a person by his writing style.

    The main aim of the project was to recognize hand written digits. The Training data set was in the form of 28X28 matrix with each cell representing a pixel ranging from 0-255. The images were normalised and in a grey scale format. We used KNN , a supervised and lazy machine learning algorithm to deduce the correct result set.
